About Me

Hi! I’m Alba. I’d tell you that I’ve loved telling stories since I was little, but that would be a lie. The truth is that I liked watching them and, at the same time, drawing whatever appeared on TV. Over time, I started trying to make small animations, which were a complete disaster by the way, but little by little I discovered small ways to make drawings move, just like the ones I saw on TV.

During my Fine Arts studies at UPV, I drew, sculpted, modeled, and designed; I tried a bit of everything. Until one day, a friend I used to make short films with in high school asked me if I wanted to be the animator for his documentary. It wasn’t the first time I animated, but it was the first time I did it in a more professional way and, above all, the first time I got to see my work on the big screen. That feeling is something I’ll never forget. I didn’t just love the process, I also knew then that I wanted to dedicate myself to it.

From that point on, I focused mainly on anatomy and animation, and I also began to discover the world of festivals. Through them, I met many people I’ve worked with and who, to this day, remain an important part of my life, both personally and professionally. After finishing my degree, I enrolled at Animum to study the double master’s in 3D animation and lighting, and since then I’ve been working on different projects. During this entire period, I’ve also continued to pursue other artistic interests like poster art, silk screening, comics, and general design and illustration
